These blade spacer bars will only fit if your cutter has round knife bolt mounting holes in the blade carrier. If your blade carrier has the slotted knife bolt openings then these back up bars will not fit. (The slotted knife bolt openings are in cutters that have the optional "OptiKnife" center knife changing option. These back-up bars will NOT fit if your cutter has the "OptiKnife" system.)

These steel backing bars or knife spacer bars are mounted in the blade carrier so that the second, lower set of mounting holes can be used on the blade when the blade has been sharpened down to half of its original size. The socket head cap screws are secured in the blade spacers. The 12mm screws that are supplied with these back-up bars will rotate but will not fall out. The back up bars are 15-3/4" long and are ground on their top and bottom surfaces for an exact fit. They are sold in pairs. The price shown is for one pair.
